D.C. Area Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Pinterest PSA: Your Real Names Are Showing
I think b/c Pinterest pulls from facebook, a lot of y'alls real names are showing on your profiles. For the sake of internet safety, you probably want to change it to maybe just your first name or first name & last initial.
You can do this by:
-clicking on your name in the top right
-Edit the name fields and possible photo
-save profile
It took me a few tries to make the save "stick" so I'm thinking they don't update changes immediately.

My Food Blog
I couldn't tell for sure, but you can easily check - just click on your name in the links at the top right of the screen. That will show you your page. On the right-hand side, above your photo, you can see your name. If it's you're real name, click on the "edit profile" button underneath your photo to change it. You can also change your username, which is the link that shows up when people click on you, or that you can send out, if that has your real name. I initially "logged in" using Facebook, so it had my full name displayed & as my username. I changed both without losing any pins.
