two things to complain about

1) I got my motherfvcking period.  seriously?  Ellie isn't even four months old, and I'm EBF.  What happened to that perk??  This happened to me with Owen, too.  Not fair.

2)  I hate shopping for clothes these days.  I miss my boobs, my twenty-something body, and my f-it attitude about credit card debt.  Shopping is now depressing.

Re: two things to complain about

  • I got mine at 5 weeks post-partum, not cool! With severe endometriosis, I could have used not getting that :(

I totally hear you on missing the f-it attitude :) I had to force myself to hit the submit button today on an online order! Sadly, was for DD, not me!

  • I hate my mothahlovin period. I got mine at about 3 or 4 months and was like...what the hell is this? And it came back with a vengeance.

I'm wearing a V neck dress today...I got in the car and looked down...and had to go inside and put a camisole under it. I miss my teenytiny boobies.

I wouldn't care what size my boobs were if only they were still in their original location.

  • All I really want is all the parts of my body to be the same size at the same time. I am so tired of pants that fit the butt but gap 2" at the waist, or dresses that fit the hips but have several extra inches of gappage in the bust.

I have a dresser stuffed with clothing and maybe 1/3 of it fits properly. I have 5 pairs of shorts and none of them fit well; 2 are too tight and 3 are too loose. I've been trying to find some new ones but nothing fits right and I hate hate hate clothes shopping for myself.

(I also got my pp period at 6 weeks. The Mirena made it all go away. I love it!)

I have this problem too and I decided to start having the waist taken in. Although, I do find shopping depressing because I don't have much of a shopping budget anymore. I wanted to buy some sunglasses the other day and came home empty handed because everything I liked was $100+

I got AF at 11 weeks pp, but then I didn't see her again until last week.

And, I would like to complain about the fact that I have mastitis. I've had a fever between 101 & 103 all day, despite lots of advil. I feel like absolute crap!

I could do that, but I think it would be silly to pay to get a $20 pair of pants altered. Smile  If I had nicer clothes, that would be an option.

I've actually had some luck as of late with L.L.Bean's curvy cut pants. They have a much smaller waist compared to the backside and they fit me pretty well.

I know what you mean. I think I paid $15 to have the waist taken in on $30 shorts.

  • 1) That totally stinks.  All that EBF work, you have earned a break from AF.  I don't get how my AF hasn't come back...and I'm only nursing what I make, which is a few ounces a day total.

    2) I totally identify with this.  I tried on 11 styles of shirts at the gap in different sizes.  I wanted to cry.  I found one that fit okay, and bought 4 shirts.  I look boring wearing essentially the same style everyday.  I won't be winning any fashionista awards, that's for sure.

  • #1 totally BLOWS!!!!!!   Wtf.  I'm pissed for you - that's ridiculous.

#2 blows as well  :o).  I feel the exact same way.  The weight loss is way harder for me this time around, and my stomach is in need of a tummy tuck.  And now that I know what post-bfing boobs look like, I'm totally dreading that.  Blech.

  • So not cool about your period! Jeeze uterus. Give the woman a break!

Totally hear you on shopping although my body isn't PP I'm just oddly proportioned and broke. And fluffy around the middle :( And my boobs are down to my knees, so summer shirts are ... uh ... not fun.

Okay, you have a much bigger reason to complain.  Ahhhhhhh I hope that clears up soon!!!  I hear it's really painful.

This is my exact problem, which is why I'm still wearing jeans and cardigans to work - that's all I have that fits.  Boo.

  • #1 - BLEHHHH. I'm waiting for the return of mine, I will probably just get done bleeding from birth and she'll be there to greet me, that's what happened last time despite EBF. Effer.

#2 - I hear you! I was told a couple days ago that "That is the biggest boob I have ever seen!" The odd thing is I feel like I look a hell of a lot better than I actually do. I know I'm only 3 weeks post partum, but I feel pretty good and then I walk past a mirror and go, oh, that's not what I thought I looked like.

#3 - I hate $. Being home alone with 2 kids makes me want to drag the kids to target and shop. Buy pointless stupid stuff, but just walk around and buy things to feel good, haha.

  • Oh and I'll just add, that my body okay. But, my biggest thing is that I miss my young looking face. Kid #1 aged me incredibly, and already looking back at post partum pics from baby #1, I look young and smooth. I feel wrinkly and old looking now. Probably the giant black bags under my eyes.
