need some paint/decorating help
After our little roof leak incident, we're going to have to repaint our family room. I'm having a hard time choosing a color. Here's what the room looks like now:
There are matching short green curtains on the short window, and we eventually want to pain the shelving unit white (but that won't happen any time soon). As you can see, lots of beige and neutrals going on. I'm definitely not a fan of bright colors like red, etc. I was thinking of a caramel-y color, something warm but not to orange.
I'm thinking something like Sienna Red:
or
Mesabi copper

Any thoughts, other ideas?
Re: need some paint/decorating help
Out of the two, I like the second one better- I like lighter colors usually though!
Do you like sage?
I do, but our kitchen (right off this room) is sort of a sagey green, and I don't want to have to buy new curtains. The long ones were cheap but the short ones are lined and were expensive as heck!
Actually our bathroom is a sage green too. We really like the color!
The Sand in My Snow Boots
What about
(sherwin williams called rivulet) ? or
(sherwin williams called socialable)
Just other ideas!
ETA: Take these recommendations with a grain of salt. I have not painted anything in my home. We are an "eggshell" house hold with white crown molding...
Get snappin' girl! I want to see! Please

I like the mesabi copper, but I also think a sage green would work as well in there.
Also what about a peach color wall, I have it in my bedroom and it lightens up the room and it's a great neutral color.
Something like this.
