Or maybe that's my cervix...or my uterus. I really have no idea, but I'm crampy and in pain from my doctor's appointment today. I cried like a baby during the procedure too, as usual. It hurt, but it wasn't worth crying over - I just get so worked up. It's embarrassing!
I ended up having to get three biopsies and I have to go back on the 27th to get my results. I really, really, really hope I don't have to have the LEEP, but it's almost like I already know I'm going to have to. Pessimistic maybe, but I just have a hard time being optimistic about it at this point.
I know TONS of people go through this and I should be thankful that this is all treatment so I don't get cancer, not that I have it, but I'm still having a pity party for one.
Stupid H and his camping. I need a hug! I should find my cats and squeeze them.

Re: My Vagina Hurts!
LOL! Here I am complaining about three small chunks being cut out and you just birthed a whole baby through yours!
Seriously, does it still hurt though? Still?? I guess I thought it magically felt better after the baby was out!
Thanks MD! This is my 4th or 5th biopsy and I've had the LEEP twice. I have no idea if my body just isn't good at fixing itself or if I have some serious strand. Whatever it is, it sucks! Thanks for the hugs!
Birth is a natural process though, as soon as the baby is out there's basically no internal pain except for a few random cramps that feel like period cramps. Or, that's how it was for me. Getting chunks cut out of anywhere is painful!
As for the "hurting" it's all mainly external and I wouldn't even describe it as pain at this point, there's just the occasional twinge and a little bit of tenderness. Let's just say I'm not doing any gymnastics at this point, but it's not bad at all.
And there you have it, more than you ever wanted to know about the current status of my lady parts
ughh, i'm sorry you're going thru that, but remember ~ it's your pity party, you can cry if you want to....especially if it helps you feel a little better, why not.
::super vibes to you & for good results::

I'm sorry, Kare. That sucks so bad.
Ditto what Madame said, btw. The internal pain is gone as soon as that baby comes out. Any external pain is really just tenderness and for me that was gone both times after about a week, maybe two tops. Granted, these were also uncomplicated births.
