Dear Penn State Psych Dept,
Thank you so so so much for approving my Stats class for the higher level course instead of the lower one. I am so incredibly relieved to not have to take any more math classes in order to graduate. Since you made that approval, I will actually graduate next year instead of the year after, so my pocketbook thanks you as well.
Sincerely,
Your very relieved student
Dear sprained ankle,
A week to heal is a little ridiculous, no? Please get better faster so I can stop feeling like a wuss working from my couch.
Dear mind and body:
You can get through one more week. Just one more week.
Dear former boss and now current co-worker,
Can you please stop trying to set me up for failure and can you please also quit being so damn b!tchy to me? I'd really appreciate it as I'm starting to not look forward to coming to a job that I used to love.
Thanks,
Fed up employee
Dear Boy,
Things were so good between us and then you had to say you wanted a break. WTF is that about?! You're a grown ass adult, get it together and realize that I am one damn good chick who you'd be lucky to have not only as a girlfriend but in your life.
Sincerely,
Irritated former GF
Oh, and Boy, PS - how rude are you to ignore me and not respond to me. You either want to make it work or you don't but don't be so juvenile to not even tell me. Have some respect for me. Jerk.
Dear everyone in the office,
I wish I could tell you all to leave me alone and STFU.
Sincerely,
Irritated
Dear USPS,
Where are the bras I ordered 10 days ago??? They should be here by now. No wonder they call you "snail mail."
Sincerely,
Big Boobs McGee who needs her bras
Dear Summer,
Oh! Hello! There you are. Please don't get to 100 degrees yet. I know we're not quite there yet but I know your ugly head is just around the corner. On the bright side, all of the yummy fruits are being harvested=).
Sincerely,
Fresno resident who is dreading July
Dear Old Navy,
Thank you for having all of your swim wear on sale for $10 each. I got two new one piece suits that I adore.
Dear Personal Trainer,
Thank you for helping me fit into new swim suits!
Love,
A size smaller me than I used to be
awesome job! You are my inspiration and motivation.
Dear self,
That was a smooth move, spilling your drink all over your lap in the car on the way back to the office. Driving over that concrete strip in the parking space was genius too. Sigh, is vacation here yet?
Signed, me

Dear dh,
I thought I could get a little work done from home since I came home early due to the above. But no, the loud sounds of your dark, violent Crow movie are making sure that doesn't happen.
Dear Apt Mgr,
I know you think you don't have to be wheelchair accessible to list your property as because no one would ever enforce that you change things unless it was a disabled person who sued and usually that just results in a court settlement for money. You wouldn't end up actually modifying things because by that time the person would long since have moved out. And I know there aren't enough disabled people living on their own to make a big enough stink to change things across the board. When you find out that 70% of disabled Americans are unemployed, you realize how many of them live with their parents or someone else who supports them. That may change when a bunch of young veterans come home from the Middle East and you'll have a rude awakening... Right now when I talk about access to you landlords/managers and you look at me like you have 2 heads. The only property that was was listed as wheelchair accessible and truly was accessible that we looked at was only built 2 years ago. All the others were quite old actually. Anything built before 1970 doesn't have to be modified and stuff built after that if you decide you can't afford to renovate you don't. You'll find someone not in a wheelchair to move in so what do you care?
I love how you always say well we could modify things at the tenants' expense. First of all, no waiting for you to get rid of steps or tear apart a bathroom so Drew can use it before we move in is not an option. We don't have time to wait for that. Moving in without being able to use the BA or get into the unit is not an option. And you charging us for that is certainly not an option since you listed this unit as wheelchair accessible!! So lady who told me today, "I don't know if you know how this kind of thing works but" *insert stuff about modifying at the tenant's expense*. No lady, you don't know how this stuff works and someday that will actually matter.
