How are you acknowledging your 2nd Anniversary?

I feel like I want to do something special/different for H.

As some may remember, this has been a rough year. I lost my father this past October, and more recently H lost his father this past April (about 6 months to the day). Both deaths were sudden, and unexpected. However, because of this (insert cheese here) we have become much closer.

It's hard to lose a parent; but it's comforting knowing that my H was there for me, and I was there for him.

It's just been a hard year, but has brought us closer - and I'm trying to think of something to help symbolize that.

We're getting a couples massage. Hot stone for him & prenatal for me. We'll be traveling for a good friends wedding, so we're treating it as a vacation and babymoon all in one.

We are taking a vacation together. We were not able to celebrate our one year together as DH was out of the country. So this year we are going to take a little time with just the two of us to celebrate.

I too am traveling for a wedding. I hear ya on the rough year. I lost my dad in December, miscarriage in January. When my friends told me they are getting married in mexico.. i was very game. Most important is that the two of you do whatever your gonna do- together (lots of cheese)...

We are also doing a couples massage we have been unemployed for 2 months so money is tight but instead of going out to dinner I'm going to make it and then we will go have our massages.
