What is your favorite hidden Cincy gem?
Is there a place that you love that nobody really "knows" about??
For me, the first place that comes to mind is an ice cream shop in Norwood. I think its called Creamy Delite or something cheesey like that. Its over by Sharpsburg Elementary and is not open year round, but has the best soft serve ice cream! I have been going there since I was barely walking! Its the best!
I also love Riverfront Pizza in Covington. Its a "hole in the wall" type place, but the pizza is great and its very affordable!

We live pretty close to that place and I keep meaning to stop in. I think I need to go this weekend and finally try it out.

Paula's Cafe downtown has the best burgers and turkey chili. They are only open during the week for lunch, and there is usually a wait, but their food is ah-mazing!

OMG...I love Terry's. I love the burgundy wine sauce (I forget what they call it), and they have my favorite beer that I can never find anywhere (La Chouffe), and holy crap, if they make you a martini it'll pretty much knock you off your chair.
The Newtown Farmer's Market has the bestest frozen custard. I LOVE it.
I also like Flipdaddy's in Mariemont for good burgers and a great rotating selection of draft beer.

Ditto on the Norwood creamy whip, it's SO good. I have been going there since I was a kid. It has been years since I have been there though, I need to make a trip over there sometime this summer. I have heard they now have the "smurf" ice cream like kings island...is that true???
Also, I agree on the Newtown farmer's market softserve too...to me it tastes like the french chew candy
