What should I have for a cook out tomorrow night?
Some friends are coming from OOT tomorrow night. I want to grill since they have a LO the same age as DD and I'm sure he'll be wound up from being in teh car a good bit of the day and I think its supposed to be less unberabley hot. I'm working from home tomorrow until lunch time and then I have a doctor's appointment so I can go to the store afterward.
We could do burgers and dogs, but I'd like to do something more interesting, but not very time consuming.
Re: What should I have for a cook out tomorrow night?
I'm with Mary. You could always do chicken too.
we just did chicken kebabs last weekend and it reminded me how much I like marinated, skewered grilled meat. So good!
we alternated: marinated chicken breast/mushrooms/shrimp/onions, but of course any variation is good.
I'm actually DYING for a pina colada, so that will definitely be on teh menu!
What apps should we do?
We made blue cheese burgers the other week, maybe we'll do that again. ..
Yum Blue Cheese burgers. My mouth is watering.
I found this on the food network.
Grilling Central Course Side Recipes
And apps
*Off to find something yummy!*
Someone's getting a little brother!
I was going to suggest kebabs as well, probably because I just bought a ton of skinless boneless chix thighs. I also love grilled pineapple.
Upside of kebabs w/ little people is that the food is already cut up for them.
