I'm just heading out to work but I'm hoping you ladies can spare a few good thoughts for me today.
Our offer on DHs aunt's house has been accepted and we have accepted an offer on our house. Yay! Today the buyer is coming in for her home inspection and I'm crossing my fingers that everything is perfect and we have no issues. DH just bought the house 3 years ago and there were no issues then so we really aren't anticipating any.
With my job, I've e-mailed my HR department regarding the offer letter they sent me which solidifies my position has full time, temoporarily, for the next year. Some of the wording is pretty tricky but essentially I have asked for some clarication on on my status. I am currently permanent part time and they are saying I will be temp full time for the next year and then revert BACK to permanent part time. The implication they have given me all along is that I will always be permanent, just the hours chanage. If I'm not permanent, I can't pay into my pension and that isn't a sacrifice I'm willing to make. So, in a very diplomatic way, I have asked for clarificaton before I will accept the offer. I would rather stay part time permanent and be 'safe'.
Sorry this got so long. I hope you all have a great Friday!

Lots of good thoughts that everything goes smoothly with the house inspection.
Hopefully you will hear soon for the clarification on how your job stands!
