Where do you go to find coupons for grocery items? It seems to me that every single site has the exact same ones, so I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on some fabulousness somewhere...TIA
Re: Coupon People...
Shmel's Blog
I'll reiterate what Mel said - I follow Keeping the Kingdom first and about 3 times a week she e-mails out links to various coupons and freebies - I got a netipot for free! And I got a $0.50 off coupon for a Luna bar which makes me SUPER happy as well.
The one thing I do is check out my local grocery stores online and see who is offering what specials. Rather than driving to all of them (um hello gas money?!) I find the ones that are offering specials on what I need THE MOST and then take my coupons and use them there.
The other thing I've begun to do is make my own stuff. Last night I made homemade laundry soap and it's been VERY effective thus far - that will save me around $40 every two months (I used an all-natural super concentrated kind that's not very cheap) and breaks down to be about $0.01 per load. I'm really interested in making other things but haven't ventured into it yet.
A10 Siggy Challenge: Our Next Vacation Destination: Paris!
Couponmom.com is another site, I may have more links at home I'll try to see tonight.
I do like Jeni and scout sales, also my local store has "yellow sticker" sales for meats which are about to be past date, which you could use that day/ next day or freeze.
I am hoping to watch Extreme couponing (on TLC I think) to get some more ideas. My roommmate from college watched it and paid $4 for $24 of groceries! Definitely worth checking out.
