North Florida Nesties
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Would you allow your child to do
this?
Re: Kids and bugs
Fuucks no.
But then again, I couldn't bring myself to touch the bug to take it out of the kid's mouth, so I'm no use.
You should. Do it, do it!
After seeing the bolded parts in the same post, I'm with Ashlee in the "just can't watch it" camp.
no! stop peer pressuring me
bugs are scary...
ew, that means some bug is in some kids mouth at some point.
nope, not watching
I'll be the gross combo breaker and say that while I wouldn't put a Cicada on MY tongue, I don't know that I'd freak out if DD put one on hers. My grossed-out-by-things-kids-put-in-their-mouths threshold is pretty high.
Then again, I haven't been in the situation, and it's possible that the sight might give me the screaming heebie-jeebies.
