The Game of Thrones series. Its is really good so far and the HBO show sticks very closely to the book.
What book are you on? I have been reading this series for over a year. I have been side tracked many times. I am almost done with book 4. Book 5 comes out in June.

Don't know about the nook and the page count because I have the paperbacks. Book 4 has around 1000 pages and the other three weren't much smaller. However there is a lot of informational pages that each book has that includes maps and family trees. I don't know if the nook includes those.
Hope you enjoy the series. The author is hard to follow sometimes, but overall I really enjoyed reading it.
You should be able to pre-order book 5. My mom did for her kindle anyway.
