Campbell had a successful 15 month check up today! Weight: 27.6 lbs (80%) Length: 32 1/2 inches (90%) Head: 47 1/2 cm (60%). He took his two shots pretty well too, he cried just for a little sec - he's always taken them pretty well though.
She said he looks good and is hitting milestones well. They do an in depth exam at 18 months for autism but usually by now 80% of kids show some signs and he's not showing any of those (this is a big worry of mine due to all the media about it).
He needs to work on getting better with a spoon by 18 months and I think we'll be good! He says a few more words than they were expecting so I was happy about that. I really couldn't be more proud of him.

Great job C! Thanks for the reminder, too -- I just realized that I don't think we even scheduled a 15-month, and we're overdue. Mother of the year award, here.
What words does he have? Jacob says "hat" about a zillion times a day. The little guy is obSESSed with hats!
Rebecca! I'm shocked, you always have J's appointment before C! :P Your vacation must have thrown you off.
Campbell's word that he repeats over and over is "hot". Kills me! And he has to say it with his hand splayed out and raised - typically it's in the direction of the stove but if he hears us say it or hears something cooking or sees steam he'll do it.
He says: mama, dada, hi, hot, hat, dog, ball, hi, wawa, nana, butt (thanks for teaching him that mom), lelo (yellow) and I think just a couple others I can't think of right now. If you ask my mom he says tons more but I have yet to here them. The pedi only expected him to have 3-4 words.
