Need help to surprise new mom in MN
Hi Ladies! I'm hoping someone here might be able to help to this Detroit Nestie. I have a friend that just had her baby in the Brainerd area a couple days ago. Since she was pregnant, she has kept telling me to bring her a bagel (an old lawschool joke), and then today, her first day home from the hospital, she said it again. lol
I tried doing a search for bagel places that might deliver, but the only place I found won't deliver to her in Pillager. Any ideas? I tried looking online, but that would require overnight delivery that would cost a small fortune for bagels. Please help! Thanks!

What about this place?
I just did a google search since I'm not familiar with Brainerd. Many of us MN Nesties are in the Twin Cities, so a lot of us don't know the Brainerd area all that well. Sorry we're not more helpful.

Yeah, I called them already. They don't deliver to where she lives (a whole 10 minutes away), unfortunately. Thanks though. BTW, I love the picture of your rottie. I used to have 2. They are great dogs.
I don't know that area at all but I wonder if any of the smaller independently owned bakeries in the Twin Cities would overnight a box to her. I'm not sure if they would charge extra for shipping or if they'd just charge you regular USPS rates.
These places have good bagels...

I agree that rotties are great. Ours is just the sweetest, most well-behaved dog.
As for the bagels, the suggestion of calling a bagel shop in the Twin Cities and asking them to deliver might be your best bet.
