Did you like Glee last night (at the Verizon Center)?

I did, but I felt about 15 years too old to be there.  It didn't help that directly behind us were 6 SCREAMING teenagers.  Seriously, they never stopped screaming.  My cousin and I actually considered the possibility that we had gone deaf by the end of the show.

Otherwise, it was a great show.  The songs and dance routines were really entertaining.

  • I LOVED IT. I especially loved Born This Way, Safety Dance and Lucky.  Single Ladies was awesome, and I loved the Warblers too. So cool to see them all live!

There was a wide age range of concert goers sitting around us. I didn't have screaming teenagers around, but I had a screaming woman right next to me who kept yelling about the dancers in a rude way. (I don't think she had ever heard of an opening act before.)

  • I thought it was fantastic!  I am such a Gleek and just had so much.  We were in section 107 and there was a pretty good mix of young and older.  There was even a man with a young baby wearing ear muff things!!  The girl in front of us caught one of the shirts....damn!  Maybe if I hadn't been trying to get so many pics (and a little video...shhhhhhhhhhh)  I could have tackled her for it!!

Oh no, we missed Single Ladies!  I would have LOVED that, particularly because the actress who plays Britney is such a talented dancer (and was one of Beyonce's Single Ladies on her tour and on the SNL appearance etc.!) I guess that was one of the encore songs.  We bolted right at the end of the regular show so we wouldn't have to wait too long for the metro.
