Low-grade mystery fever ?
When Nicholas woke up from his nap, his whole body felt warm, yet his room is nice and cool, so I took his temp and he's running 100.4. He has no obvious signs of illness except that he was a little lethargic after lunch, which I didn't think anything of at the time.
I gave him a dose of acetaminophen to see if the fever will come down. Do I keep dosing him or see if whatever this is will run its course? The very few times he's ever been sick it's been obvious (ears), so I really don't have much experience with this stuff. Any advice would be appreciated.
Re: Low-grade mystery fever ?
He's 2 1/2. I never thought of the molars. It's been so long since he did any obvious teething. He's perked up a bit already so I don't think whatever it is is bothering him much.
Hmm, I hope not. He had a rough start to his morning and felt hot again, but didn't apparently have a fever. When I asked if anything hurt, he told me it was his thumb. Repeatedly. LOL
Tonight at bedtime he volunteered that his teeth hurt, so I think you're right about the teething.
