question stemmed from baby post below....

do you ladies have a online ovulation tracker/calendar recommendation?  I just googled it, and jeez....i'm overwhelmed by all the results.

Free & easy to use would be most preferred Embarrassed

  • Fertility friend is definitely the most recommended!  There is a link to my chart in my siggy, and you can sign up from there.  They have a free version, and a pay VIP version, but the free version does get the job done.

  • ditto, Fertility Friend.

Easy to use.  I used it all 15 cycles we were trying for Baby Rebel.  I'm back to using it, just to keep track of how long my cycles are.  I'm not taking my temps at this point.

  • got it.  Cute name too....very optimistic!! Yes

    Thanks ladies!

  • FYI - they will send you like 50,000 emails when you first start out. I saved them 2 years ago when I signed up and I have yet to read them, LOL!

Taking Charge of Your Fertility is also the bible around the bump. You'll often see its acronym TCOYF. It's a book not an online thing, btw.

Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
  • oh and one more tip cole gave me - you can find really cheap ovulation predictors and pregnancy test strips on amazon. you don't need the whole cartridge, just the strips.

Ha! I spent the money on the ovulation strips from Amazon.  They arrived after AF ended.  I never got a + for when I ovulated and then ended up PG with K that cycle.  Craziness.  So I mailed all the my leftovers to my BFF who was TTC.

Actually they do have an on-line thing now, I saw it last year but I'm not sure if it's free. If you buy the TCOYF book you get a free trial of their software. I really liked that I had all my information private, and there is only a one time fee.

I do like that fertility friend is free and they have an app

  • I like mymonthlycycles.com since I just track and don't temp. (I'm also trying the free OvuView app on my phone and it seems to work pretty well). I buy cheap tests from saveontests.com, but I like the mid steam tests.

  • I use TCOYF software. Like pp said I like that its private and not internet based. Kate I have the book if you want to borrow it.  It has the disk that has the free trial of the software too.

I honestly think every woman should read this book! Even if you're not ttc. I felt like there was so much information in there that they don't really teach you in school.

  • You can get apps for your smart phone too that will keep track of your period and when you're ovulating, fertile, etc.
