If your pic is WR; how long do you think it's "acceptable" to keep? Like at 14 months past the wedding would it be ridiculous to have a wedding pic as your profile pic?

I have a wedding pic as my profile pic on FB still, but after our first anniversary I'll probably switch it; it's also not a full-on wedding pic, yes I am in my dress but it's just me and it's cropped from my waist up. Jason has one of our engagement pictures on his and that was taken back in October of 2009 lol. I'd say a year is acceptable but after that it's time to move on. Of course, I think it'd be cute to put a wedding pic up around your anniversary each year.

eh I don't really think much of it to be honest. My friend who got married last July is still cycling through her wedding pictures as her profile picture. I'll probably still put them up as mine from time to time, especially around our anniversary time.

Mine's currently a picture of us from my sister's wedding, but I sort of feel that excepting anniversaries, after 2 years you should probably go with something else.

mine is WR, but I change it like crazy with NWR and WR pics. I just go with what I want...don't really think about what others think.

geez, I was embarrassed after 6 months! I'm going to change it back to a wedding picture. :P

I'm looking forward to anniversaries when I can pop them back up there for a week or so.

I think it depends on how often you have good pictures of yourself taken. I rarely do, so at any given moment my FB profile picture could be as much as 2 years old. It's currently one from the wedding. Who knows when I'll change it.

Mine is currently WR. I figured I could leave it there until our first anniversary before anyone was like- uh, you're not newlyweds anymore! But I will probably put it back every year for the month of October. I don't take many pictures I like lately... but soon I will be able to put baby pics up instead if everything goes well!

I have a WR pic up. I usually HATE how I look in pics, so the wedding ones are my go-to pics right now since I look smokin' hot- haha. I never really update my profile so hopefully no one is paying attention. I have a friend that was married 2 years ago and she still has her pic up. I figure she just feels like I do--- that this is the best we are going to look- might as well keep it up!
