Shut up. Teletubbies ended 10 years ago?! Spice Girls and BSB are in their 30s?!
The bit about kids born in '93 being 18 this year blows my mind. I know I'm not that old, but I was in like, 2nd grade that year. That list took me back.
I was in the 7th grade in '93.
I loved the Surge cola thing. I remember band parents bringing that stuff to football games for us, and one kid drinking 6 in a row. That stuff was nastay.
I remember when Surge came out. Supposed to compete with Mountain Dew. Yeah...Mountain Dew was waaaay better.
OMG. I am floored by some of these. I LOVED "The Tony Rich Project" and played that song so much my tape (yes, tape) stopped playing!
I am only 27 but I feel ancient now, thanks Jamie. Lol!

I just can't believe some of that stuff happened so long ago and the ages of some of those people now! Time flies.
I still have a box of 3.5" computer disks mixed in with my office supplies. My last computer with that kind of disk drive died 4 years ago.
The Taco Bell Chihuahua has been dead for 2 years?!?!
I honestly thought that the list would be things that I really didn't know and make me feel younger. Boy was I wrong. That was so depressing!
I actually had a patient today that was born in 1993. I went in the waiting room expecting to get a little kid. Not an 18 year old! '93 does not seem 18 years ago.
1. The floppy disk thing made me laugh. Kids will have no idea what that is or how to REWIND.
2. I thought Teletubbies was still on the air...? Shows how much I know.
3. AOL. Whoa. It looks so dated now, but it was so cool back then!
4. H and I both tripped out on SURGE because I totally forgot that existed.
That was fun! Thanks for sharing. It kind of made me feel old... but I know I'm not so it really was just fun and reminiscent.
