As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Update: Dr. appt. and ultrasound
I had another ultrasound today and the tech said she would also guess boy but it is still too early to be sure. But they printed me out 6 pictures of the baby, arms, hand, feet, and profile views. SO CUTE!
At my Dr. appointment they just took my wt. and blood pressure and gave me orders for a quad screen which tests for possibility of Down's and 3 other things.
She also said that my sugar levels were elevated in my urine, and asked if I had just had eaten any sweets. I had just come from lunch with a friend at Wendy's and had eaten a chicken sandwich, fries, and one of those berry frosty parfaits (tons of sugar!). So she didn't seem too worried but gave me orders for a glucose test and said they would do a full screening for diabetes at a later time.
So that was kind of scary but I am hoping it was just that frosty. I really should be watching my carbs and sugar more than I am.

Yay, how exciting! I bet the pictures are amazing!
Lesson learned: don't eat tons of sugar before a doc appointment. I hope everything is alright with your sugar levels!
how exciting!!! I loved getting ultra sounds....I opt'd out of the quad screening tests...the glucose test wasnt as bad as everyone said it was....mine tasted like flat orange pop
oh I always forget and have sugar before my appts and my dr always says did you drink pop or have candy before you came haha

Glad to hear everything looks good. I wouldn't worry about the sugar, this is why I always have my appts in the morning before I can get too much sugar in me and screw them up and end up with more tests than I already have, haha!
