Sunday morning breakfast

DH is making me banana bread french toast!   I can't wait until it is done.  Ha ha ha.

Re: Sunday morning breakfast

  • Ohh yum!!!

We have brunch at a friend's house at 11, but DS put himself down for a nap so now we are just sitting until he wakes up. I wonder what they are cooking.

  • I love brunch!  I love when there are mimosas.  Ha ha ha.
  • Mmm, that sounds good!  And I haven't had a mimosa in forever.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • How was the banana bread french toast? Sounds amazing! The only thing that could make that better is if it was banana chocolate chip bread french toast. (I love me some chocolate!) A mimosa would be great as well!

Ginger that is a fabulous idea!  I will have to add in some chocolate chips next time! The banana bread french toast was delicious.  It was pretty heavy so we were full fast, but I loved every bite!

  • I have never made french toast with banana bread, but I will have to try it this summer. We often buy a chocolate chip banana bread from Birdsong Bakery when they are at the Copley Square farmers market. I usually slice it and just grill it with a little butter and serve it with vanilla ice cream and chocolate or caramel sauce. This summer I'm totally trying to make French toast with it! Yummmm
