Smelly sink

Our bathroom sink smells strongly of mildew everytime we use it... I think it's coming from the drainage holes on the side. How would you go about getting mildew out of within/under the sink???

Re: Smelly sink

  • hot soapy water with bleach...scrub away with sponge

  • This happened at my mom's house--we tried solving it by squeezing lemon juice down the drain to sit overnight, just since that works so well in kitchen sink drains, but when it was just as bad the next day, a plumber identified that the pedestal was actually misaligned with the hole in the floor, I hope you find the solution!  I know how obnoxious that is.
