Date Night!
We're going out on a dinner date tonight. Felicity's staying with my mom and stepdad... Damian asked if I wanted to do dinner and a movie, I said no, I don't want to be away from her for that long. So we're just gonna grab a bite to eat in Old Town, and then depending on how long it's been, and how I feel we may or may not walk around some of the shops. We will, however, stop at the Christmas Shop there and buy Felicity's Christmas stocking (it's where we got both of ours, once we got engaged.) I'm hoping since it's summer there may be some sort of sale - I doubt it though.
Wish me luck that I dont bawl my eyes out tonight! I'm definitely going to wear waterproof mascara!

brave lady!!!! it's funny though, because i just said to justin last night that i think we need a date night (i left out, "before i divorce you") lol i just don't know if im brave enough to do it! i agree with u though...dinner OR a movie! i can't do both!!!

we still do and we always go through our phone and look at her pictures...then we move on...then we bring her up again. LOL it's a cycle.
just try to relax and enjoy yourself. you deserve it and it's much needed.
the first night james and i went out i was emotional because i didn't quite feel like a 'mom' yet but i knew i was definitely more than just 'me.'
she actually slept over my mom and dad's at 4 weeks so we could have a date night and some sleep! that was about the only time i got up to pump at night because my boobs were in pain. it was amazing how much energy i had the next day.
it definitely is hard in the beginning but then you'll eventually get to a point where you crave some date nights more often :P it's fun to reconnect
