GRRRR - Vent
I'm pulling my hair out over this - my Explorer is only a year and a half old and I've had the radio replaced THREE times now. The issues is it will turn off randomly and turn back on whenever it feels like it. It will totally reset everything and blast AM static when it does switch back on.
So I've been dealing with that - well the radio shut off on Saturday and hasn't turned back on since. It's annoying driving around without no radio! So I called the dealership today and I can't come in after work unless I come on a Monday or a Thursday when they're open later - I have conflicts both days.
I don't want to wait a week for them to get to my car! So he said if I dropped the car off and picked up a loaner they'd work on it while I'm at work - which is fine BUT they don't have any loaners at the moment because they're so busy with repairs!
I swear - if they don't fix my radio with this repair I'm going to demand they give me a new Explorer - it's stupid that after a fourth fix it's still not "fixed".

Once when I needed to get my car fixed the dealership didn't have any loners left so they took me to a car rental place and paid for my car rental. Maybe you could get them to do that since you've had the same problem over and over.
