Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Class Reunions
Have you gone? Planned to go?
My 10 year HS is this year and I can't imagine going. I keep getting FB invites to events that I ignore. I even got a message from one of the coordinators asking for my new address. I sent back a message basically saying thanks for thinking of me, but I wasn't interested in attending. I really disliked HS and mostly hung out with work friends...I don't have an interest in speaking to people that I haven't spoken to in 10 years, but that is JMHO.
Oh and half of my HS is currently in jail or has a solid criminal record-reason being for staying out of it. But boy would I LOVE to be a fly on the wall at that event!
Re: Class Reunions
I didn't go to my 5 year...I was just getting over a bad break up...so I bailed.
My 10 year...well, eh. I had no desire to. I keep in touch with those I want to see.
My 20 is Jul 16 and I'm going, it's not so much that I want to see some of these poeple, but I want to see what happened to some of these people.
I went to my 5 and had fun, didnt go to the 10 because my car broke down on the way, and my 15 was way to expensive for basically dinner at a crappy restaurant.

Wow! We didn't even have a 5 year reunion.
I should add that I would go to my college reunion, but not HS.
I haven't been to any of mine, but this year should have been my 10 year. Problem is most of my friends were either a grade ahead or a grade behind me. I keep up with the ones I like on FB.

The Sand in My Snow Boots
I think that makes a difference too. My graduating class was 337 and I knew everyone.
On the other hand, I've been to college and law school reunions and certainly didn't know them all there. Eh, I just really like parties.

I've skipped both my 5 and 10 year reunions.
Facebook has killed the reunion mystique.
Word.
My 5 yr was poorly planned- it was at a bar in my hometown, I was 7 months pregnant and didn't like any of those people, anyway- why would I drive 3 hours to watch people I don't like get wasted? No, thanks!
