Name some fun day trips in or around Iowa
We want to do some fun stuff with the kids this summer. But I got denied my vacation time. So we can only do like day trips. What are something we could do?
If age matters my kids are 11, 13 and 15

You live pretty close to the Yellow River State Fores area! It's our favorite part of Iowa and there is so much to do in there. So many great river towns, The Effigy Mounds National Monument, camping, trout fishing, Pike's Peak State Park, etc...
How about canoeing on the Upper Iowa? Beautiful. Seed Savers Exchange in Decorah is amazing.
