Back from vacation
OMG!! It was the best vacation EVER. Sarah was completely surprised & shocked. I'll try load the video of the surprise on Facebook tonight.
The trip itself was more than I could have wisheed for. We had a great drive down, had a great hotel room (Port Orleans Riverside) with a river view and breakfast the first morning at Cinderella's Royal Table in the castle was amazing. Sarah met Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Belle & Jasmine. We road some awesome rides, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain (Sarah didn't like so much), the Tea Cups, Peter Pan's Flight etc. We all smiled the whole time.
The ultimate moment of Disney Magic occured in Epcot. We were walking from France back towards the main gate to ride Mission Space & as we passed by this little walkway a group of characters came out. Sarah was the first to see Mickey & he held her hand & walked about 20 yards to his post where he would sign autographs. Nelson got it all on video. I was so excited that I couldn't get my camera out in time to take a picture. I'm not a big Disney preson by any means nor am I very emotional but I have to tell you that I teared up a bit at that moment. It is above all my favorite memory of the trip.
Sarah was the perfect age for Disney. At 10, she's not too old for the kiddy rides but not too young for the more adult thrill seeking rides.
I can't wait for y'all to see some of the pictures. I'll post one on here for my siggy too.
