Best fried chicken?
I'm looking for opinions on the best fried chicken in the Twin Cities. DH's favorite food is fried chicken and I'm wondering who has the best. We live in the NE 'burbs, but I'll take suggestions for restaurants in other areas. I figure that we can drive a bit if needed since this will be his Father's Day gift. TIA!

The Dari-ette in E St. Paul has amazing fried chicken and I think would definitely be worth the hike from the NE! They are a drive-in, but you might want to call in your order ahead of time since the chicken is made to order. They also have Italian food, and I hear that their sauce is very good.

I definitely second the recommendation above. Yum.
There was also a take-out BBQ joint near on Randolph my old house on St. Paul that had amazing fried chicken. I can't remember the name for the life of me. It was pretty much only take-out, though. But so, so good.
