Cricut Ladies

This is only the second time I've used my Cricuit, and it won't cut through the paper.  I'm not using super thick cardstock or anything either.  I've adjusted the blade, but nothing seems to work.  Do you have any suggestions?

TIA!

Re: Cricut Ladies

  • I figured it out!  I just had to adjust the pressure.  Thanks though!
  • Glad you figured it out, I was going to suggest the pressure :)

  • Not to hijack the thread here, but which Cricut machine do you guys have?  I saw one on sale at Michael's or Joanne's this week for $90 and was thinking about getting it!

I have the personal and the expression.  I started out with the personal and used it for about 3 years, but it's just too small for me and what I use it for.  I upgraded to the expression about 6 months ago and haven't looked back.  The personal only cuts 6x12 paper, whereas the expression can cut 12x12 or 12x24.  Seriously though, if you just want the personal I will sell you mine.  It's still in perfect condition.  The cheapest I've seen it recently is $79.99, I'd sell it for $50.

I also have the personal (aka baby bug).  I have been going back and forth about getting an expression.  I just don't use it enough yet to go that route.  I am doing more crafting the digital way vs. paper.  If you are just starting out, I would buy a personal.  You can probably get one barely used for a good price.

I have the expression, but kind of wish I would have got the personal.  I don't scrapbook, so I don't really use mine all that often.  However, I do like that I have the ability to make really large cutouts.  So...I wasn't much help at all.  LOL  Stick out tongue
