Adoption Fund
Hi Ladies,
You guys have been more than generous to us and I do not expect any of you to donate, but if you could spread the word about our adoption fund I would really appreciate it.
We did the math, and if every one of our facebook friends donated $20 we'd be half way to our goal.

Wow, I thought you guys were trying the other procedure later this summer! Have you decided against that?
And without trying to be nosy (just because I'm curious and I have so many adopted cousins), how much is it in the US to adopt? If you'd rather not say, I understand. It's totally a prying question.

We're not going to do the FET at this point, because the risks are too great. We're going to consider it in the future. While we wont know for sure if it worked or not until August, there are far too many unknowns with that situation for us to be comfortable. For example, if an embryo attaches to the right side which is regrown it may cause the placenta to attach too deeply to into the wall and I could bleed to death after delivery.
The average cost of adoption is between 20-30K. Since we're interested in minority adoption it's at the lower end. Some of the situations we're considering right now are between 19K and 25K
