"The smell of death..."
I know some people are following the Casey Anthony trial.
Does anyone else find that statement kind of strange? I don't know what death smells like. I can't even imagine what exactly it would smell like. I have assumed it doesn't smell good, but I just don't get it.
BTW-I should add I think Casey Anthony is completely guilty. So I'm not defending her by any means.
Re: "The smell of death..."
I can understand the statement. My college dorm room was in the basement of the building. One break (Winter, I think) they set out traps for rats/mice in our ceiling and then never retrieved the full traps. It was the worst smell ever, and like nothing I've ever smelled before or since. The smelled also lingered for a number of days after they finally decided to remove the dead animals.

haha good point!
It's the most rancid smell you can imagine. Trust me, you don't have to know what it smells like to recognize it when you do. It's awful!
I would also like to clarify that I'm not frequently around dead people, but I used to work at a hospital. It's well, it's death - there's no other description.
