Sewing machine people - help!
I think something is wrong with my machine. Every time it stitches, it's really loose (mostly in the back of the fabric) and often the bobbin thread gets all effed up so I'm guessing it's a problem with the bobbin. The tension on the machine is where it should be. I can't figure out anything else to check:/
I'm about to go out and just buy a new one. Maybe this one has seen it's day. I probably bought it in 2004 and it was only like $125.
Thoughts?
TIA!
Re: Sewing machine people - help!
Hah! It's never been cleaned! That could explain a lot. I guess I just figured even if it could be fixed, it may not be worth it since it wasn't the best machine to begin with.

I'm going to guess you're having a tension issue too.
Service on your machine may or may not be worth it- call around and see if you can find a deal... I spent a little bit more than you did on my machine, but I got an incredible deal and couldn't replace it for even double what it cost me to fix it, so I went ahead and had mine serviced, now it is good as new.

I went somewhere called Sun Sew Vac. It's out near Ft Belvoir. BUT there's definitely a vacuum repair shop in 7 Corners that does it, and you can probably find somewhere similar closer to you.
