It's a bit late in the day, but why not. Taken from "The Book of Questions" which I just found in a box while cleaning....
For a person you loved deeply, would you be willing to move to a distant/remote country knowing there would be little chance of seeing your friends or family again?

Re: QOTD
Honestly, I dont think I could. I grew up really close to my family and still am. I cant imagine not being able to see them again.
Edit: I have to say though it would depend on the situation, are we talking about someone I love deeply that Im just dating or my husband is moving for his job?
I'm trying to imagine different scenarios this question. I think if I had met someone from a foreign country and fell in love with them, I still wouldn't be able to leave my family and friends at home.
If I was already married to the person, like if DH got some new job and HAD to move... then I'd obviously move with him. I would fight tooth and nail not to have to move though. I'd rather have him lose a job than have to move, personally.
Can I still be a Detroit Nestie after I move?
I don't mind moving so much, as long as our littles are still young. I wouldn't want to uproot them to move once they are in school. I have moved to follow DH's job a few times, and don't really mind so much. I'm always up for a life adventure if I feel as though that is the way the universe is taking us.
Good question. The answer is yes.
