my inlaws called DH today and are going to come out to visit this weekend.
i am thinking hitting Frederick might be a fun afternoon (it is not that far from us) but not sure if there is any type of specific festival or other event i am blanking on that might be fun this weekend.

any MD vineyards you'd want to take them to? or, if you want to go to VA we loved the leesburg area wineries (especially fabbioli, hiddencroft, and chrysalis)

We're going to the Nats game on Sunday - don't know of anything particularly special going on there.
We're also going to brew beer in Frederick on Saturday at The Flying Barrel so if you go, stop by and have a drink with us!

They used to have the Red Cross Old Town Alexandria Waterfront Festival this weekend, but it got cancelled last year and hasn't come back.
