Has anyone done this? Did you like it? How long did the tint last? Does it run when you're in the water? Did it damage/dry out your eyelashes at all? How much did you pay and where did you get it done? Any comments about your experience would be helpful! Thanks!
Re: Lash tinting?
I've done it twice. I think I got it done at Andre Chreky in DC once and at Salon Nordine in Reston the other time. The process only takes a few minutes and I didn't have any issues with the tint running or lashes drying out. The tint did not seem to last long - a month - maybe? Both times I did it before we were going on vacation so that if we were at the pool, I would still have lashes.
For me, I didn't think it was really worth it. My eyes still looked "naked" because my lashes didn't look thick enough without mascara on. So most of the time, except for the pool, gym, etc, I still put mascara on.
I did it in Chicago at a Benefit Boutique. I'm not sure if they do it at their Ulta brow bars here. I did brows and lashes and I was very happy with the results. I'd say it lasted a month. I did tear a lot during the process but it wasn't painful and I'd still recommend it.
I asked my girl (Karina) at the Aveda in Georgetown and she said they do brows+lashes for $50.
