MIL just sent me this message on FB.

JC Penney was real nice to me. They sent me a coupon for $10 off anything. So I went over and got a 2-pc outfit for Kaden, originally selling for $20, marked down to $10, so I got it for Free. I'll keep the receipt in case you need to exchange it but I think it will fit him. It's a 2-T but smaller than other 2-T's there. Good timing for birthday gift.

Really?  You had to share with me that you didn't have to spend a dime on your grandson's first birthday present.  Real nice.  Classy even. Confused

    My MIL would so do that and be oblivious to it all...She gave us "really nice bed sheets that aren't used or anything, but they were a gift that won't fit on their bed" as her wedding gift. They are really nice sheets and were in a package and obviously hadn't ever been opened, but still...that's our wedding gift? lol.

    besides the obvious cheapness i love how she talks about jcpenney like they have a personal relationship.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    She's a piece of work and I find myself constantly rolling my eyes at her.  If not thinking worse things about her.

    i would just say thank you for thinking of him and leave it at that. yes it's cheap but the thought is there and i think not responding would be rude.
