moving rec?
Ok, girls. DH and I are starting the process of looking to move to the Tampa area and need your help. I really have no idea where to start as far as the area goes. I lived there, in Largo roughly 8 or so years ago and kind of liked it, but I want other options/areas to look at. I would like to live in a community (either gated or non gated, doesn't matter) that my DH and I could potentially start our family in. We're looking at pretty much any type of house except for multi-family. Any advice would be appreciated.

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
I live just south of Carrollwood which is considered north Tampa-ish. Carrollwood is not gated but it is basically it's own community with parks, a community center, some religious institutions, and centrally located to shops and restaurants. Most of it was built in the 70's I believe so a little older, but the houses are nice and on large lots.
I also love Westchase and I hope to move there for our next house. It is a mix of gated and non-gated communities, several located in walking distance to West Park Village which is a little area with shops and restaurants. Most of it was built in the 90's and up, so it's a newer area. Although the lots are smaller and houses closer together, it's all kept up very nice and I like the sense of community over there.
