Hey! How is Sean doing with the whole concept of Baby coming? They have been talking a lot about babies in the Two's room lately since another friend of his will be a big sister. So they pretend to feed the babies a bottle, talk about putting diapers and (try) to dress the babies and "wash" them.
We're reading I'm a Big Brother by Joanna Cole and now Joey is pointing out all the babies at Walmart and saying how they are "warm and cozy!" Other than talking about babies and pointing to my belly, that's about as far as his comprehension goes for how much his world is about to change! And since we don't know what we're having and don't have a name picked out, it's a little hard to attach much meaning to it other than "the baby". Anyway just wanted to see if you are in the same boat!
How is the Two's room transition going also?

Hey! I think he just has a vague concept of it.....he points to my stomach and says "baby in there" and "hi baby!" and will try to look at the baby through my belly button, lol. He does LOVE babies so I think it will be a positive thing. He always points out babies and says "shhhhh....baby" when he sees one. i have no idea why except maybe they say that at daycare when there are babies sleeping.
Today was his first day in twos and his report said he did great! He loves it there....his favorite teacher is not there but the room is bigger with better toys for bigger kids that interest him more, so he is very occupied. Oh and my tuition went down by $70 a week today....that was nice!
I can't believe you are so close. How exciting, I can't wait to see if you guys have a girl or boy. I am sure he will do great with it. That is cool that they are working with them at daycare too.
They sound very similar in their understanding. I am a little nervous about jealousy though! I will learn a lot about him and his personality when this new baby comes!
It's nice to have that decrease in tuition!! J will be part time during the summer and my maternity leave, it's a nice savings. I'm dreading that first check for 2 in daycare though : )
