Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Photo birth announcements may be the biggest rip-off ever. Either we need to send less cards or have less friends/family.

Last time I ended up doing them myself and just printing as photos/on photo paper from Kodak.com (had a coupon code which made them cheapo). Took me two months, but at least I only spent $30. This time we got some with the photo package we ordered from the hospital (which MIL paid for - otherwise we wouldn't have gotten it).
Thanks guys, I ended up getting a pretty good price and free shipping from Snapfish.
I thought of making my own layout but I don't really know how to do that so spending a few extra bucks was worth saving myself the headache.
I looked at Costco but I wanted to use two pictures and all of their layouts only allowed for one, or didn't really "fit" a birth announcement.
