I applied for a job yesterday. After I submitted my online resume, cover letter and such. I got an email saying "should we wish to process you app, we will contact you directly. Then it says if we do not contact you, we wish you the best in your future career.
So my guts tell me that if two weeks go by and the job is still on the website I should not try to contact them and tell them I'm still interested. The control freak in me would want to try to call. Should I let it go and abide by what the email says?
Thanks

Re: kinda soon
Yes, let it go. If you try and contact them with express instructions not to, that may be their excuse to blow you off.
And IMO you may be putting the cart before the horse. You may hear from them soon and this will all be for naught.
