Do you buy clothing ? How much do you typically spend ?

It depends. If I good sale on something I've been keeping an eye out for I'll get it. I go through shoes pretty fast so I'll buy shoes a couple times a year. I try to stick to stores like Target, Kohl's, or TJ Maxx to keep the cost down. I usually don't buy clothes unless I need to replace something or I see something really cute on a clearance rack that I know I'll wear a lot.

Yeah I would say the same thing. Sometimes I buy a bunch of stuff when I suddenly have big gaps (like 2 pairs of pants that fit). I am hard on shoes but I don't buy them more than once a year usually. I never have that many pairs.

I've been shopping more lately because I'm still building a work wardrobe. Generally, I also usually buy a few new items at the beginning of winter or summer.

I try to limit myself to $100 a month or less.

I only buy stuff if it's on clearance or sale because I'm a big cheapo. I'll spend between $50 and $100 a month.

I used to buy clothes very frequently before I was laid off (at least once every two weeks -- and I'd often spend over $100). After being laid off, I pretty much didn't shop for new clothes for the entire 9 months I was unemployed. I think I spent maybe $100 on clothes in that entire period -- if even that. After I went back to work, I did start shopping again, but nothing like before. I find that now I shop for new clothes every couple of months or so. I'll usually hit up a couple of my favorite stores. And I probably spend under $250 total.

I go about every 3 months and then I usually buy something. It depends upon the sale thats going on and what I need, but it can range anywhere from 100-200 and sometimes less.

Maybe four times a year? Once a season?

I'm a cheapskate, so I usually only shop at Penneys, Plato's Closet or my favorite local consignment shop. Seriously, I can get five or six good items at those last two places for $60 or so.

Probably buy clothes a few times per year; usually when something is worn out, faded or just want new stuff. I bought 3 t-shirts from Old Navy a few weeks ago but that was $18 total plus shipping. I don't buy shoes that often (well running shoes are a few times per year) either.

It really depends. When I worked in retail I bought clothes all the time, at least once a month, and spent a few hundred (if only I had been smart and taken advantage of the employee stock purchase plan instead!!!!) Now I buy as "needed," and usually only on sale, which works out to every few months and I try to keep it around $100 or less (depending on what I'm buying.) In the last year I have spent more than normal due to PG/Post-Partum and BFing though.
