Our plans have changed like four times and I have no clue what to get mine...so I'm curious what you guys are all doing!

DH wants a new DSLR camera. His birthday is earlier in July so he might bet a combo birthday/anniversary gift.
We are going to Asheville, NC for 5 days in a cabin in the mountains. They are nice cabins with hot tubs on the decks.
No idea what I am getting him- maybe a good bike as a combo gift (birthday is the week before).
And we are going to Colorado. My brother in law is becoming a priest, and he takes his first vows ON our anniversary. It's kind of a big deal, equivalent to like a formal engagement ceremony or something!
On our actual anniversary - not much. There is a very very very good chance DH will be working alllll day on our actual anniversary. (He's in agriculture and works in the fields - July is a busy time for production.) We are going to try to do a nice dinner somewhere if we can.
We went to STL last weekend for a Cubs/Cards game (our teams!) and spent the night, and did a bunch of stuff while we were there. We are hoping to take one more short weekend trip in August before I start school - hopefully Chicago. Those will substitute for a "big" trip. (We talked about a cruise during my school breaks though.)
I'm planning on getting him a super nice grill he's been eyeing. It's a little more than I would probably spend normally, but his b-day is the day before our anniversary, and he has been eyeing this grill for awhile, so I'm thinking combo gift. I thought about b-pics, but just couldn't get it done in time.

No anniversary trip this year. I can't get the time off work and we decided that we'd rather escape somewhere warm in the middle of winter, so we're planning for a trip in December.

Everyone welcome.
We're going out to a steakhouse, but not much else, since we're hopefully closing around that time, and took a big trip back in April. I wanted to get him the cooler bar from Bed, Bath and Beyond for the new deck, but they're out of stock, and I can't find something I like better. So now it's back to the drawing board.
On a cool and slightly related note, I was talking to my mom last night and as a housewarming gift, she offered to buy us a grill, and if we decide that we don't want an anniversary gift from her, that she'd put that extra money towards the grill! Bonus!

We both grew up fairly close to STL. (I grew up in Springfield, IL, which is about 90 minutes away. DH is from about 45 minutes southeast of Springfield.) S we did some things we haven't done since we were kids, and some new stuff!
We went to a baseball game (why we went down - we go to a Cubs Cards game every year, and did Busch this year instead of Wrigley). That was Sunday afternoon. Sunday night we walked over to The Landing (lots of bars and restaurants) and ate dinner. The place we went was awesome - but I don't remember the name!! Monday, we went up in the Arch. I haven't done this since I was about 10, and it was totally worth the 10 bucks a person! Then we grabbed some lunch. We decided on a whim to do the Busch Stadium tour. (Which pained me a little as a Cubs fan, but i was actually pretty awesome.) If you like baseball at all, I highly recommend it. You get to go basically everywhere but the locker room. Then we did the Budweiser Brewery tour, which we had also never done but always talked about doing. Pretty cool also - a lot of history. (Plus - free tastings afterwards!!)
We stayed at the Crown Plaza, primarily because it was about 3 blocks from the stadium, and had the lowest prices online of all hotels by the stadium for the night we were there. I rececently did a girls weekend in STL, and stayed at the Hyatt - which is an awesome hotel. Very nice - was much much nicer than the plaza.
I get to work. DH gets to go to chicago for a job hiring thing. Very romantic
add: I feel like we're the old couple. Like we've been married for 30 years.
I actually have no idea what we're going to do. I'm getting bpics done at the end of this month but I probably won't have the prints back by our actual anniversary date. But that will be his present whenever I get them back.
No clue what he is going to get me. I asked him the other day and he just said "paper". So ya...no plans as of yet!

Lauren- I laughed when I asked Andy that and he said well year 1 is paper! I'm so glad he paid attention!!!
We are going to Chicago the week after to see Wrigley and watch the Phillies play the cubs. I'll secretly be rooting for the cubs only because hello it's wrigley!!! But they are playing the phillies so you know who Andy will be rooting for!
I'm doing B pics for him but they won't be in til later so when we stay in a hotel for a wedding in Aug I'll give him them...late but at least we'll be in a sexy hotel!
I wanted to do B pics...but I don't feel quite hot enough, ya know? lol.
My aunt said today she has some friends who own a cabin, or time share, or something in Tahoe...and was going to see if anyone was using it that weekend...
