Per goodgollie's request:
Are you usually late, early or right on time?
Re: QOTD
I'm always 5 minutes late.
I'm not one of those people who are perpetually really late, but I'm always just a little late. I don't like it. I try to be on time (usually), but it just doesn't happen.
Haha. Well if you're crazy, I'm crazy. I also show up super early to appts, especially if I don't know how to get there. I like to leave myself a 30 min window incase I get lost.
If it is just me - I am normally early or on time.
If it is the family, we are either early or late. We can't quite make it right on time. Not too late, 5-10 minutes. I hate hate hate being late, but I can't seem to get everything together and make it out of the house on time.
Yes! It's especially bad if I'm going some place new, or some place that requires a longer commute. I worry about getting stuck in traffic or getting lost so I allow the same window.
Glad to have a sister in craziness.
LOL. Every great once in a while I'm close to 5 min late to work because I need (yes, need) to stop for coffee on Fridays.
Kasa, you are not alone.
I am late. Always late. I've been really trying to make an effort to be early to things. I've found more success solo than when doing something with the kids. Willa has started asking if we're going to be late. I hate that.
My Profile
LOL, thanks! I like these.
Also, I think we could just do the QOTD and randoms in the same post. It works well on the other boards.
QOTD: I'm usually right on time. Since DS was born sometimes I am up to 5 minutes late, but usually I'm 1-2 minutes early.
I'm usually early or right on time. I have definitely had my moments now that I have a baby where I've been late though.
MH on the other hand is perpertually late. Like late late. I'm talking half hour range here. Somehow I can manage to get myself and a baby ready, then have to sit around and wait for him. Not cool.
Late by just a little. I've deduced recently that this is because I get really anxious having to mill around making chit chat with people to kill time. Therefore, if I show up right as things are starting, then I can get on with business and avoid the part I hate. DH likes to be early, which creates some tension (although he doesn't like talking to people either, but he'll just stand there petrified like a statue).
I do this exactly for any event having to do with work or my profession (besides the events that I plan of course). I avoid "networking hour" like the plague.
Late. 5-10 minute range. I can't help it.
If it's something like a job interview, I'm ridiculously early and end up sitting in the parking lot like Juli.
