Storing Off Season Clothing

How and where do you organize and store off season clothes? I am drowning right now in a sea odd off season/maternity/baby clothes! Please help me.

Re: Storing Off Season Clothing

  • Dry cleaners sometimes will.

    Everyone welcome.
  • Under-bed storage containers. Our guest bed is pretty high off the ground and has a bedskirt, so I have storage containers under there.

I'm in the same boat. I'm about to take everything out of my closet that doesn't fit because I'm at that point where I think I look more fat than pregnant (I blame the hormones) and keep accidentally grabbing things that don't fit.

  • I don't. I keep everything in my closet/dresser and cull as necessary. Some clothes get sold, some go to Goodwill. Then I don't need to worry about moths or other perils of clothing storage.

  • I just keep all my clothing in my dresser and closet. I never have moved out of season clothes into storage

  • I finally did this last week. I have a few cedar clothing storage containers from bed bath and beyond. This year I had to go out and buy two more bins, guess we bought more clothes than usual. I store them in a storage closet by our laundry.
  • This year we used space bags and put all my winter clothes and my "skinny" clothes in there and stored them in the attic. It seems to be working really well and there's still plenty of space.
