Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Disappointed
Last week I sent my resume and the best cover letter I've ever written to my friend's law firm.... the managing partner in her office (there are lots of offices so this guy isn't the main boss) implied to her that there would be positions available so we got REALLY EXCITED!....
....she just texted me that evidently they do NOT have any positions in either her office or the other one 30 mins away. Fail. 
I have my resume in with one other firm where I have some contacts, and am making a follow up call there today. Any vibes you have to spare would be appreciated.

Apparently the big bossman said he "recognized my talent" which is really nice and makes me feel good, but it doesn't get me out of this craphole! I know I should be thankful to be employed (and stable employment, for that matter) but I can't help but be sad.
