How was everyone's weekend???
I HAD THE GREATEST WEEKEND EVER.
In case any of you have forgotten, I went to NKOTBSB concert at Fenway Park. Some of you may have seen my play by play on Facebook. Let me highlight a few things
1. Mark Walhberg introduced the boys. My love for Mark Walhberg is out of this world. Needless to say I flipped my ***.
2. Naughty by Nature came out and did Hip Hop Hooray. I was transported back to the 90s like woah
3. They were selling snap bracelets
4. Half naked men in the rain WILL reduce me to my former 15 year old self
5. I love rain. Please refer to No 4
6. Nick Carter used the stage as a Slip N Slide and almost flew off the stage. Hilarious
7. The Wahlberg family is blessed with some amazing genes. I would like a Donnie and Mark Sandwich TO GO
8. I still remember all the songs even though I haven't listened to them in 10+ years
9. I was ALSO reduced to a jealous 12 year old when BSB brought and serenaded a couple of girls on stage
10. I still love Brian Littrell to no end
11. GREATEST.CONCERT.IN.THE.HISTORY.OF.EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, was that a little much?
Sunday was also fabulous. I had lunch with some friends and went to a bread baking class and learned a ton!!
How was everyone else's weekend??????
Re: It's Monday! Again!
That post was hysterical! Glad you were reduced to your pre-teen self drooling over your crushes
hehehe I love it!!
PS SNAP BRACELETS!!!! JEALOUS!
My weekend was SO quite which was really ok I got stuff done. Finished most of the laundry and got most of the vases/candle holders washed for next weekend's wedding. UGH I need an assistant besides poor DH lol
Haha! I was really enjoying your Facebooks Saturday night. : )
Friday night we just ordered pizza from our little grocery store's deli and watched Case 39. Pretty creepy!
Saturday I went to garage sales with my childhood friend, then hung out at her parent's house to play with her little girl (8 months). Saturday night, Jeff and I went out to dinner then to Hyvee. I spent an ass load, but most of it was cleaning supplies and restocking the pantry items. I did save $52 in coupons though! : )
Sunday I spent the morning reading, then in the afternoon we had a welcoming party for a friend's baby. He will be a month this coming week, and I couldn't get enough of him!!! She and her family are staying with her parents all week, so I'm hoping to see him a few more times. I do have to admit I got a little tipsy at the party, haha, but it was okay. I sobered up by night time. I basically grew up at these people's house, so it was fun to hang out with everyone.
These next two weekends I need to get back into the deep cleaning mode before my clean freak, OCD sister gets here for the 4th. : )
I know, me too! I felt like I was there because of all the updates! Glad you had fun, Amanda! I went to see NKOTB a few years ago and it was awesome. Brought me right back to my childhood. Amazing!
My weekend was good - the weather was crappy, but I kept busy. I had a graduation party on Saturday and had dinner with my family yesterday. I also got a pedicure yesterday, which was a nice treat
hahahaha - that post is awesome! I heard from a few people it was a great time!
good for you glad you had fun!
9 Glorious Months!

Yeah best post ever award goes to Amanda!
Weekend was kind of blah but good. I relaxed a lot when I feel like I'm always on the go so it was nice! Saturday night we had a friend's bday party which was the highlight of the weekend.
I was reading you FB updates the other night and CRACKING up. I am glad that you had such a great time. I think the same thing would happen to me if Nsync got back together and did a tour.
My weekend was good, DH was home for a change so we did some garage saleing, went to some open houses, and had a BBQ at the house with some friends. Very low key but very nice. It was good to spend some time just DH and me for a change.
Amanda, I'm glad you had so much fun. I loved reading all your updates Saturday night. I could totally tell you had be transported back to your teenage years.
We had a relatively quiet weekend which was nice. Friday I ran to Bath & Body Work for their Semi-annual sale and to BBB, then to Sam's Club.
Saturday I didn't feel very good all day, so I waited til DH got back from work to head to the groccery store. That night we ordered pizza and watched a really dumb (IMO) movie--Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Unless you like graphic novels/comic books I would not recommend wasting the almost 2 hours of your life watching this movie.
Sunday DH played golf in the morning with his brother. Then we BBQed for dinner and went to Maggie Moo's for B1G1 ice cream.
OMG - Me too! I was loving how much fun you were having and that you shared it with us through your FB posts in real time! That is exactly the way you should feel at a concert :-)
I'm a day late on this one...main reason is that I worked from home yesterday, and for some reason, I never "nest" when working from home...lol
But man, the weekend was awesome! Perfect weather, great graduation party on Saturday and family visiting/shopping on Sunday. But my big news is that I got my new camera! Now I just need to figure out how to work it! Hahaha!!
I'm glad you had a great time at the concert! Sounds like a lot of fun!
I had a pretty good weekend. DH invited a bunch of guys and families to our house to the Stanley cup game 5 "under the stars". He moved our tv outside and asked them to bring their own chairs and we provided beer and food. We did some grilling and had a good time! (that was Friday night)
Saturday I got a crapload of stuff at Old Navy including 3 pairs of shorts for SD which were $5 ea! If she doesn't like them/ wear them I will! The rest of the day I chilled out and did some studying.
Sunday we hung out outside since it was gorgeous, I put on my bathing suit and now my back is paying for it :-( Look like a lobster from the back! Oh well. That night we dropped the kids off at their mom's and went to a blues concert by Jimmie Vaughan (brother of Stevie Ray). We had 2nd row seats which made it more interesting, at a small venue. I can't wait for the next few weekends then my vacation to Florida comes soon! Lets go work week!!
