Vacuum for hardwood floors
Hello - this is my first post on this board and was hoping I could get some recommendations for a good vacuum for hardwood floors. I currently use a swiffer, but it doesn't pick everything up and don't think the broom does that good of a job either. What do you currently sweep your hardwood floors with? Thanks!
Re: Vacuum for hardwood floors
This is what H uses. I've only used it once since I brought it home from Kohls a couple years ago. I have clean hardwood floors and H must like it a lot or he wouldn't use it every week. H even uses it to clean the baseboards -- pulls out the hose. The vacuum has quite the suction for being so small.

We have a Dyson and just turn off the beater bar when we're vacumming our hard floors. I'm sure you could use any vacuum as long as you have the ability to turn off the beater bar.
