Philly Cooking Creme

I've seen a few posts about it but have yet to try it.  What recipes have you tried and had success with?

I'm just starting to look at Kraft's website for ideas but think I want to add something with one of these to next week's menu!

I think I'm alone on this one, but I didn't like the cooking cream.  I've only tried the Santa Fe blend though so maybe the other ones are better; I'll have to try another one to give it a second chance.  I honestly thought it was a little bland though and had tons of calories.

  • I agree with Xan on the calories thing. :-/ But I have used the italian herb one and it was so yummy with pasta and chicken and veggies.

  • Totally agree with Xan on the Santa Fe flavor and the calories.  But like Montana said, the Italian cheese is good. I made that zucchini casserole thing that I created and posted about a while back...

  • I love the santa fe one, we made the enchilada's with it, and they are delish!

I made pizza with the Italian Herbs one last night and it was fab also.

I haven't tried the original but I have the third kind in the fridge (I can't remember what flavor that is).

I love them calories and all!

  • One of the recipes on Kraft website is for a tuna casserole using the original.  I usually use cream of mushroom soup in my tuna casseroles.  Surprisingly, the calories seem similar but the spread is like 50% lower in sodium!
  • I seriously love this stuff!

I made the Easy Tomato and Bail Pizza last night with the Italian Herb one and it was ah.may.zing. http://www.kraftbrands.com/philly/recipes/Pages/Recipe-Detail.aspx?recipeId=121718#category=818&subcategory=

I also did a Chicken Bake once with the Original flavor.  I used garlic and capers and put it over rigatoni.  Yummm!
