I figured I'd been lurking for awhile now, and have commented when I thought I had something relevant to say, so I figured I'd introduce myself. I am Liz, just got married a month ago, we have a 2 year old husky german shepherd mix, and I love wine.

Just thought I'd say hi!

Re: Hi..I'm new
Congrats and welcome to the board! It's usually a little more lively than this
I also have a part-husky mix (we're pretty sure she's got some shepherd in her as well, based on her coloring) - ours is nine, but still acts like she's two a lot of the time...

Thank you for the welcome
Ohhh...which ones? This is one of my favorite ones out there: http://www.notavivavineyards.com/ The wine is awesome, it's an absolutely gorgeous vineyard, and I am also a theater geek, so I appreciate the arts that it ties in.
Aww...thanks!
we will have to check that one out next time! i am already trying to get a girls' winery weekend on the books. we went to hiddencroft, chrysalis, fabbioli, quattro goombas and a few other. fabbioli was our favorite and hiddencroft was a close second.

This is the next one I want to go to. I have heard great things about it. The girls winery weekend sounds awesome. For my bachelorette party, they got a van from a company called "Girl's Night Out" and for something like $95/person, they took us to 3 wineries, and provided us with lunch and a wine tasting lesson. It was really kind of cool. The $95 also covered the tasting fees at each winery.
welcome!
I have not yet been to Notaviva but I watched the Dream House series when it was being built and feel like I know them!
"What is a week-end?"
Ha! I was thinking the same thing!!
Welcome!! Like everyone said -- dogs and wine means you fit right in!!
PS -- We're case club members at Fabiolli and love, love, love talking that place up to anyone who will listen. They are fabulous!
