I am having an IMPOSSIBLE time finding jeans..I usually buy Silver's at Younkers but have had a hard time finding ones that are long enough that don't have my butt hanging out the top or that aren't skin tight. I am 5'10" without shoes so I need a 34" inseam.. I bought some ReRock jeans at Express last week because I remember someone raving about them.. well for me, once I wore them for a couple hours, the thighs and butt were all saggy/baggy. I am willing to spend a decent amount (those ReRock ones were $100) because I buy jeans like once every few years, only wear them Friday-Sunday and have an impossible time finding ones that fit well!
My 10 yr class reunion is this weekend so of course the search is on for something to make me look good ![]()
Re: where do you buy jeans?
Check out von maur, it is my new go to place. I am particularly fond of the Big Star variety, and they are "affordable" compared to most of the higher end brands ($100ish). I found some pairs of Big Stars, Citizens, etc for $65-80 on the sale rack there before. And you can have them alter the length for free if necessary. The big stars are all long, so 35'' inseam I believe, so I definitely had to take them up, but it is nice to have a pair that fits perfectly. I really like the re rocks from express, but I have had the same problem as you w/ stretching out after 1 wear.
I am also going to check out american eagle for the first time in years after reading lots of recs on the F&B board for jeans that look cute and are cheap ($40 or so).
I LOVE Blond Genius out by Jordan Creek. They are so helpful and make it super easy to find jeans that are a perfect fit for you. The downside is that they are expensive so I go there only once in a blue moon
However, I have loved the jeans I've gotten there and wear them for years.
